Inside Sales - Orders

What you'll do:
- Receive and respond to phone, e-mail, and web-based inquiries regarding technical data/support, price, delivery, or application information from customers and representatives.
- Monitor and respond efficiently to the chat function, assisting with quotes, answering customer questions, and delegating to the appropriate person as needed. Complete proactive open quote follow-up or new product information phone calls.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains relationships with current customers, prospective customers, Outside Sales, and/or representatives to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
- Receive all orders for proper routing to the appropriate functional group. Support new business development activities by follow-up phone calls on sales leads, as required.
- Backup Inside Sales – Orders team with phone calls and email support as needed. Must address customers' issues and ensure effective and responsive problem resolution.
- Assist customers with order clarifications- including but not limited to shipping, invoicing, payment terms, freight terms, quantity, model code, and resolve credit holds.
- Field incoming inquiries for post order service and support issues. Ask probing questions to determine best course of action to fulfill customer needs and minimize VEGA costs.
- Issue timely and detailed Material Return Authorizations (MRA’s) for VEGA equipment.
- Make decisions regarding the issuance of credits and the creation of special exchange terms, using defined guidelines. Initiate internal quality reporting process via electronic quality system. Review all non-managed orders for completeness of data needed for accurate entry.
What you'll need:
- Two/Four-year Degree, preferably in a Technical Field.
- AND related customer service experience.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
