
Continuous Improvement Coordinator
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for driving operational excellence across VEGA’s manufacturing environment. This position focuses on identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, and improving performance in key operational metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), quality, throughput, and cost.
This role requires a hands-on presence on the production floor, working closely with manufacturing teams to observe processes, solve problems, and implement sustainable improvements. The Coordinator owns improvement initiatives from identification through execution and measurable results, while influencing cross-functional teams to adopt and sustain change.

Run (Maintain Stability & Optimize Existing Processes)
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations in production and sales by identifying inefficiencies and eliminating bottlenecks.
- Develop, implement, and sustain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Utilize data-driven performance metrics to monitor and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to ensure stable, efficient daily operations.
Improve (Drive Efficiency & Innovation)
- Own and drive continuous improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation and measurable results
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies to eliminate waste (time, motion, defects, overproduction, etc.)
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve workflows and processes
- Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities through operational improvements
Grow (Scale & Expand Business Capabilities)
- Develop and implement strategies to scale VEGA’s operations, ensuring processes support long-term business growth.
- Work closely with executive leadership to align improvement initiatives with VEGA’s strategic vision.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching teams on best practices and innovative problem-solving methods.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred, however, not a requirement for the position.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
