Overview:
The Chief Creative & Innovation Officer (CCIO) is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the agency’s creative vision and driving innovation across all disciplines. This individual will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver groundbreaking, results-oriented campaigns while identifying emerging trends, technologies, and approaches to keep the agency at the forefront of the industry.
Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership
• Establish and communicate the agency’s creative vision, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand strategy.
• Oversee all creative output, including campaigns, digital experiences, branding, content, and design.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire creative directors, strategists, designers, writers, and other creative staff.
• Maintain high standards of creative excellence and ensure work consistently delivers measurable impact for clients.
Innovation & Strategy
• Identify and integrate new technologies, platforms, and methodologies to enhance client offerings and internal processes.
• Drive innovation in campaign development, user experience, and content creation to differentiate the agency in the marketplace.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop new products, services, and revenue streams.
• Partner with the strategy and data teams to leverage insights for creative and technological innovation.
Client Engagement
• Act as a senior creative and innovation advisor to key clients, presenting bold ideas with clarity and confidence.
• Participate in new business development by leading creative pitches and innovation workshops.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite client stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
• Develop and manage budgets for the creative and innovation departments.
• Establish processes that promote efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• 10+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within digital marketing, advertising, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering award-winning creative work and successful innovation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of emerging digital technologies, platforms, and consumer behavior trends.
• Exceptional leadership and team development skills with a passion for mentoring creative talent.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent sitting at a desk performing work on a computer
