Overview
Velir x Brooklyn Data is seeking a strategic and sales-focused Partner Alliances Manager to support the growth and expansion of our partner ecosystem, with a particular focus on data partnerships. This role will play a critical part in managing existing partner relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and executing co-selling initiatives that drive revenue. The Partner Alliances Manager will work closely with the Partner and Alliances Director and cross-functional teams to support business development efforts across strategic technology partnerships.
Ideal candidates will bring a solid understanding of the data technology landscape and have experience working with key ecosystem partners such as Databricks, Sigma, dbt, Fivetran, Domo and Snowflake. This position is best suited for an individual who is both relationship-driven and revenue-oriented, with excellent communication skills, passionate about Velir’s growth and a strong grasp of data strategy and services.
Responsibilities
- Help execute on our sales strategy to maximize revenue potential by working with partner sales representatives to drive growth and revenue across all channels.
- Collaborate with partner sales teams to identify, develop, and close joint business opportunities. Actively manage co-selling initiatives and pipeline development across key partnerships.
- Leverage a deep understanding of our services to effectively communicate value propositions and solutions to Partners.
- Conduct compelling sales presentations, enablement and agency overview, both in-person and virtually, to showcase the differentiators of our agency.
- Manage the day-to-day tactical relationships with our existing partners.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to create, package, and promote joint offerings, campaigns, and content aligned to partner go-to-market motions and strategic initiatives.
- Establish lead generating activities internally and externally along strategic touch points with top key partner contacts (e.g., QBRs, monthly syncs with partner leadership, onsite visits, etc.)
- Follow through on opportunities to ensure the partnership is sustained and the sale is solidified in a way that reflects Velir’s strong reputation.
- Track and report on partner-driven opportunities, marketing activity ROI, and overall partnership performance to ensure accountability and alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate and consult on potential events and other partner engagements we should take on, keeping our high-level strategy in mind.
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in sales and/or partnerships, business development, or a related role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and identify business development and partnership opportunities within ecosystem partners (Sitecore, Acquia, Snowflake, dbt, AWS, Azure).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and understand complex technical concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to drive co-selling strategies and support revenue growth through partner collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a professional demeanor.
- Critical thinking and strategic evaluation skills; able to assess partner value alignment with business goals.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with data and/or digital marketing technologies such as Snowflake, dbt Labs, Databricks, Sigma, etc. (Sitecore, Acquia, Optimizely a plus).
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting at a desk performing work on a computer.

- Travel will be required approximately 25% of the time
Compensation Range: $105,000 - $120,000 annually
Please note that compensation packages are finalized after the interview process is concluded. We use a competency-based approach to base pay, which means it is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated for this role.
