
Regional Manager of Quality and Operations

We are seeking a Regional Manager of Quality and Operations to lead the Quality and Operations team, ensure products consistently meet customer requirements, and support the resolution of customer concerns related to product quality.

What can you expect to do?
- Customer Quality Conformance: Ensure ongoing compliance with customer quality requirements across all operations.
- Team Training & Performance: Lead, train, and develop the Quality and Operations team to drive high performance and accountability.
- Cross-Functional & External Coordination: Partner with internal departments, customers, and service providers to address quality concerns and ensure effective operational execution.
- Continuous Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives that improve the company’s ability to consistently meet and exceed customer quality standards.
- Team Leadership & Operational Effectiveness: Manage the Quality and Operations team to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant execution of daily activities.
- Inspection Oversight & Product Acceptability: Review inspection results for accuracy and perform supplemental inspections as needed to determine product acceptability.
- Quality Communication & Issue Resolution: Communicate inspection findings to Purchasing and Sales, and recommend corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Quality Training & Awareness: Deliver training on quality awareness, inspection standards, and product knowledge across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?
- 4-year college required; Engineering background preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in inspection and classification of semiconductor and electronic components, with demonstrated ability to make accurate conformance decisions.
- Working knowledge of handling electronic components within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of RoHS requirements (preferred).
- Familiarity with basic failure analysis methodologies, such as decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional testing (preferred).
