PHONE HARDWARE ADMINISTRATOR

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • VOIP Phone System Management
  • Emergency Pool & Elevator Phones
  • Cellular Boosting Systems
  • Property-Wide Cellular Service Support
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Vendor & Service Provider Coordination
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Continuous Improvement & Upgrades

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to travel
  • Clear communication with end-users, vendors, and IT teams.
  • VoIP Protocols & Standards: Knowledge of SIP, RTP, and other communication protocols.
  • Experience with IP-PBX systems, voicemail systems, and call routing.
  • Ability to plan and implement VoIP upgrades, migrations, or integrations.
  • Maintaining network diagrams, call flow charts, and system configurations.
  • Ability to quickly diagnose call quality issues, dropped calls, and latency problems.
  • Understanding of VoIP security best practices, including encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, and firewalls.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking, or a related field
  • Certifications: CCNA (Collaboration), CCNP Voice, CompTIA Network+, or other VoIP-related certifications
