Director of IT & Security Support

 

Position Overview:

The Director of IT & Security Support is responsible for leading and managing all support operations related to the organization’s technology and physical security systems. This includes oversight of phone systems, internet services, cameras, and door access controls. The role requires establishing and enforcing policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service standards while building and developing a skilled support team. This position combines strategic planning, hands-on leadership, and operational excellence to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient support services across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Lead, mentor, and expand the IT & Security Support team.
  • Oversee day-to-day support for phone, internet, camera, and access control systems.
  • Develop and enforce policies, SOPs, and service standards.
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and department resources.
  • Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Implement strategic improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency. 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in IT or security support operations, including 3+ years in leadership.
  • Strong experience with both technical support and physical security systems.
  • Proven ability to build and scale teams.
  • Skilled in policy creation, vendor management, and budget oversight.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
