IT Technology Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning and development of projects, including proactive communication with stakeholders regarding project needs, scheduling, and goals.
- Review plans and specifications to understand project dependencies and IT requirements.
- Assemble server racks for each project and prepare them for shipment.
- Coordinate day-to-day systems and processes to ensure timely installations, including vendor installation and testing coordination.
- Assist construction teams with onsite installation and troubleshooting.
- Identify best practices and efficiencies, take ownership of project dependencies, and resolve risk issues.
- Prepare project update reports as directed.
- Verify and organize incoming IT-related shipments.
- Collaborate with the IT, Construction, and Supply Chain Management teams to address missing orders.
- Organize all materials required for each project and ensure they are ready for shipment.
- Organize, maintain, and complete cycle counts for related IT inventory.
- Implement a new asset-tracking plan for the company.
- Implement new IT-related policies introduced by the company.
- Maintain material security at warehousing locations and job sites.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Some college in related field is preferred.
- Minimum (2) years relevant combination of experience in network installations or IT-related fields.
- Demonstrated technical competency in standard IT protocols, systems hardware, and software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
- Excellent written, communication, and organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong time management, decision-making, and multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under time-sensitive circumstances.
Physical Requirements:
- Varied activities include sitting (for extended periods of time), standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Manual dexterity to operate various types of office equipment.
- Periodic needs to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across office and construction site settings
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Occasional travel to various Hillpointe locations may be required.
- Exposure to typical office conditions as well as construction site environments, including noise and varying temperatures.
- Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and contractors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
