About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer with a strong background in CFD modeling, Thermal design and analysis for electronics. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics, combined with hands-on experience in laptop and mobile device thermal simulations. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing system thermal design to ensure performance, reliability, and user comfort in next-generation devices.

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform thermal modeling and simulation using industry-standard CFD tools such as FloTHERM, Icepak, or equivalent software.
• Conduct detailed heat transfer analysis, including conduction, convection, and
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, industrial design, and system architecture) to define and optimize thermal solutions.
• Develop and validate thermal prototypes, test plans, and measurement methodologies.
• Analyze test data, correlate results with simulations, and propose design improvements.
• Drive innovation in thermal management, including new materials, cooling methods, and system architectures.

Qualifications 

• Master’s or PhD degree in Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience in thermal design and analysis, preferably in consumer
• Proven expertise with thermal simulation tools (FloTHERM, Icepak, or similar CFD software).
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Hands-on experience in laptop and/or mobile device thermal design.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
