Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The Workday Integrations Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day support, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of Workday integrations. Reporting to the Workday Lead, this role ensures the reliable flow of data between Workday and external/internal systems, supporting HR, Payroll, and other business functions. This individual acts as a key operational resource, executing integration-related tasks, resolving issues, and partnering with AMS resources to maintain a stable and efficient integration landscape post-go-live.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Integration Monitoring & Production Support
    • Monitor scheduled and event-driven integrations including Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIBs), Workday Web Services (APIs), etc.
    • Monitor, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures in production (i.e., file transmission errors, data transformation issues, authentication or connectivity failures).
    • Establish and manage SLAs and support models for integration incidents.
    • Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, not just workarounds.
    • Execute daily operational checks, especially for payroll and benefits critical integrations.
    • Assist with management of integration-related security including Integration System Users (ISUs) and credential updates.
  • Integration Execution & Configuration
    • Build, configure, and maintain integrations under guidance from the Workday Lead including simple to moderately complex EIBs, Core Connector configurations, data mappings and transformation logic.
    • Support updates to existing integrations based on business requirements, vendor changes, and regulatory updates.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors to validate file formats, resolve transmission issues, and support testing and changes.
    • Drive adoption of Workday-delivered connectors where feasible.
    • Ensure secure handling of data transfers and adherence to company policies.
  • Data Validation & Issue Resolution
    • Validate integration outputs to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
    • Assist with reconciliation processes for payroll files, benefit carrier feeds, GL integrations.
    • Identify discrepancies and escalate appropriately.
    • Serve as the first line of support for integration-related incidents.
  • Integration Testing & Deployment Support
    • Support testing activities for new integrations, enhancements, Workday releases.
    • Execute test scripts and validate results in Sandbox/Preview.
    • Assist with migration of integrations to Production following established change control processes.
    • Lead backlog prioritization for integration-related enhancements.
    • Improve integration performance, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Workday Release Support
    • Assist in evaluating Workday bi-annual releases for integration impacts.
    • Support regression testing and validation of integration functionality.
    • Implement required updates under direction from the Workday Lead.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management
    • Maintain and update comprehensive documentation for integration configurations, data mappings, file layouts and specifications, error handling procedures, etc.
    • Document recurring issues and standard resolutions.
    • Ensure documentation to support AMS collaboration, audits, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience
    • 3 to 5 years of hands-on Workday experience in a post-implementation support environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Strong expertise with Workday integrations including Core Connectors, EIBs and file-based integrations (XML, CSV, flat files).
    • Intermediate understanding of integration concepts (APIs, SFTP, data transformations) and payroll and HR data flows.
    • Ability to manage high-severity production issues under pressure.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to spot issues and risks and escalate when appropriate.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines with a sense of urgency.
    • Attention to detail with a strong focus on operational excellence.
