
Manager, End User Services Operations
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
At Venture Global, we're excited to invite an IT Manager/Senior to be part of our team in Arlington, VA. In this key leadership position, you'll collaborate directly with our IT Vice President and corporate leaders to effectively manage all aspects of our IT support and operation. You'll have the opportunity to set the direction, develop strategies, and ensure that we achieve operational excellence while keeping our customers happy and productive. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that supports VG’s business goals and objectives, and delivers on client expectations and business needs.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with business leaders, VG Corporate IT, and other stakeholders to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage technology budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Implement robust security protocols and practices to protect the organization's technology environment from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Work closely with clients to understand their technology requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Ensure and supervise the secure and effective operation, and physical tracking of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software.
- Oversee all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance, and governance of the organization's policies and procedures.
- Oversee IT daily operations (Service Desk, Assets, Inventory, New hires, endpoints, etc.)
- Oversee design, estimation, and execution of project work plans, revising as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Implement a robust business continuity strategy and ensure systems can meet capacity requirements and service level agreements (SLAs), including availability, return to operations, and recovery point objectives.
- Ensure clear communications with cross-functional team leaders, executive management, and third-party providers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and managerial roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Experience solving business problems with technology solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
