
Analyst, Commercial Gas - Pipeline

The Commercial Gas Pipeline Analyst is responsible for natural gas transportation on Venture Global LNG’s interstate pipelines. The Commercial Gas Pipeline Analyst will interact and support external interstate pipeline customers and internal administrative, operations, and commercial groups. The Commercial Gas Pipeline Analyst job function requires after-hours and weekend rotational on-call availability.
Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Daily confirmation of schedule volumes with upstream and downstream interconnecting parties
- Provide reports on scheduled quantities, daily measurement, and gas quality to external customers and internal Venture Global LNG departments and leadership
- Interstate Pipeline EBB compliance auditing, regulatory reporting, and public postings for the Informational Postings and Customer Activity sites
- Provide supporting materials to mid and back office departments to assist with daily functions and month end closings
- Coordinating with interconnecting parties for maintenance and outage scheduling
- Provide defect/enhancement requests and user-acceptance testing for scheduling, measurement, accounting, and flow monitoring systems
- Work with external pipeline customers to provide EBB access, scheduling information, constraint and outage information, and answer gas transportation questions
- Customer and interconnect party agreement drafting, review, maintenance, and document retention
- Lead monthly closing efforts for measurement, interconnect balance reconciliation, scheduled quantities, and measurement allocation quantities
Work Product – the Gas Transportation Analyst will produce varied output include:
- Daily – I/C confirmations, measurement review, comms w/ internal and external parties
- Weekly – EBB reporting, maintenance and outage reviews, measurement reviews
- Monthly – measurement, scheduling, allocations, and accounting close
- Ad Hoc – enhancement/defect system testing, provide regulatory reporting support, pipeline tariff drafting and review
