
Manager, Quality Assurance Auditing
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
We are looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance Auditing to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and follow-up of audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory, corporate, and project-specific quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual audit schedules.
- Conduct QMS and project audits aligned with API, ISO, and regulatory and compliance standards.
- Manage audit plans, resources, preparation, document and data gathering, distribution, and communications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, company team members, external stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to gather and record auditee contact information, auditee location address, auditee location access requirements, and all necessary information required for audit planning and scheduling.
- Conduct interviews as needed to qualify auditors, delegate audits, communicate audit objectives, scope, requirements, specifications, and provide relevant documents.
- Coordinate with auditee to confirm audit dates, develop and issue terms of reference, develop and issue audit agenda, and conduct audits or deploy auditors.
- Track findings, issue audit reports, and verify corrective actions.
- Maintain audit tools, registers, workspaces, records and archives
- Develop, maintain, and continually improve audit progam procedures, work instructions, templates, checklists, workflows, and associated process guidelines.
- Monitor risk-based supplier performance and quality system health.
- Provide audit input for supplier qualification and project readiness assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit program management, quality management, or a related field in the energy industry, preferably in LNG
- Strong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standards
- Experience with audits, inspections, and vendor evaluations
- Well-articulated with excellent written and verbal communication, planning, computing, technical, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities change
- Possess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance
- Have the ability to read and interpret engineer drawings to include P&IDs, Civil/Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etc.
- Broad knowledge and understating of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Have advanced computer experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, BI, Adobe, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel Work products
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card

- PMI Certifications (PMP, RMP)
- API/AWS/ASME Certifications
