Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Coupa Solutions Architect with strong technical skills to support and optimize procurement processes such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay (P2P) and Supplier Information Management (SIM). This role will be critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing end to end procurement solutions, with a primary focus on Coupa’s platform and integrating it seamlessly within existing systems. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain Venture Global’s procurement platforms, particularly Coupa, to streamline procurement processes and meet business goals. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for procurement-related applications and platforms, advising on system capabilities, best practices, and implementation opportunities. 
  • Administer and manage user roles, permissions, and access across Coupa modules, adhering to the principle of least privilege access. 
  • Create and govern workflow configurations, ensuring that company policies and guidelines are effectively embedded across all procurement modules. 
  • Administer and maintain integrations between Coupa and ERP systems and other critical applications. 
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot system-wide issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Coupa and associated applications. 
  • Develop comprehensive documentation of system configurations, administrative procedures, and workflows, feeding into training and change management initiatives. 
  • Partner with business teams to identify gaps, optimize processes, and recommend scalable solutions aligning with company objectives. 
  • Conduct unit and user acceptance testing to validate the scalability and reliability of the implemented solutions. 
  • Liaise with application vendors for updates, system enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure compliance with Venture Global’s patching and maintenance policies. 
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for Coupa administration and other application governance functions. 
  • Provide technical insights and recommendations to ensure that procurement platforms are scalable across Venture Global’s facilities and are aligned with long-term business strategies. 
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to align applications with cross-functional requirements. 
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and a customer-centric approach in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Exhibit strong data security and confidentiality practices, particularly with systems handling sensitive business data.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Coupa subject matter expert or a similar role supporting procurement platforms. 
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and familiarity with systems like Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay (P2P) and Supplier Information Management (SIM). 
  • Strong technical expertise in system integration, workflow configurations, and administration of procurement applications. 
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes and contribute to user training efforts. 
  • Proficiency in IT service management tools, troubleshooting methodologies, and vendor communications. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. 
  • Solid understanding of Agile or similar methodologies in continuous service environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems and other integrated business platforms used in procurement workflows. 
  • Certification in Coupa or other procurement platforms would be an advantage.
