Please note: This is an onsite position based out of headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Ensure the successful execution of projects by coordinating tasks, resources, and timelines. Take the initiative on special projects as needed, demonstrating leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Meeting Management: Schedule meetings, prepare detailed agendas, and document meeting minutes. Track and follow up on action items to ensure their timely completion.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze data, utilizing basic scripting and SQL queries to generate insightful reports. Produce actionable recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of project statuses, timelines, and expectations. 
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide support on various projects and ad-hoc tasks as required, showcasing flexibility and a willingness to take on diverse challenges.
  • Script coding or conducting code reviews to fix problems as they arise.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Statistics or a related field
  • Scripting and SQL Proficiency: Strong capability in script coding and SQL is essential for data analysis and automating routine tasks. Ability to engage in script coding or code review to identify and resolve issues promptly. Understanding Java/Go is a plus.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in task management.
  • Communication Skills: Have strong communication skills that allow you to clearly articulate and provide insights to the message you are trying to convey.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Very hands-on and entrepreneurial, preferably with startup experience, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Ability to multitask, prioritize a complex workload, and adapt to changing priorities with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, capable of working closely with various teams to resolve issues and achieve common goals.
  • Analytical Skills: Basic analytic skills are required for generating reports and insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin Preferred

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Compensation Package that consists of a base salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits. 

Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. 

  • Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $85,000 - $100,000

Below is the expected salary range for this position. The listed range is a good faith estimate, and exact compensation and total package may vary depending on market conditions and candidate qualifications.
