Position Overview
We are seeking a Head of Content to help establish and lead our content efforts. This is a highly hands-on role where you’ll create a wide range of content while laying the foundation for a scalable content program. Working closely with the VP of Marketing, you will produce high-quality materials that fuel lead generation, support sales, enhance proposals and RFP responses, drive thought leadership, and strengthen our visibility across channels.
The Head of Content will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across the enterprise to create original content that highlights our business units, products, and services. You will play a key role in helping to shape the overall enterprise story and executing and amplifying that vision with a steady pipeline of strategic content.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development & Writing
- Produce and edit a steady stream of content including blog posts, whitepapers, thought leadership articles, case studies, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Deliver on recurring goals: at least one whitepaper per quarter and multiple thought leadership articles each month.
- Craft original narratives that showcase our expertise, services, and enterprise-wide strengths.
- Content Strategy & Editorial Support
- Partner with the VP of Marketing to align on messaging, enterprise storytelling, and content priorities.
- Maintain and manage an editorial calendar that balances ongoing campaigns with consistent thought leadership.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, distribution, and lead generation.
- Collaboration with SMEs & Stakeholders
- Partner with business unit leaders, SMEs, and executives to surface insights and transform them into polished, engaging content.
- Ensure content supports the visibility of multiple business lines and enterprise initiatives.
- Social Media & Distribution
- Oversee content for social platforms to amplify reach, engagement, and thought leadership.
- Repurpose long-form content (whitepapers, case studies) into blogs, infographics, and social snippets.
- Sales & Proposal Enablement
- Support business development with persuasive proposals and RFP responses.
- Contribute to product marketing through messaging frameworks, sales collateral, and pitch decks.
- Analytics & Optimization
- Track and analyze performance of content assets to measure ROI.
- Continuously refine strategy based on engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing whitepapers, thought leadership, and sales/proposal content.
- Proven ability to work with SMEs and stakeholders to develop enterprise-level content.
- Familiarity with SEO, product marketing, and content performance analytics.
- Experience managing social media content to extend reach and engagement.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
