Job Overview

As Senior Data Product Manager, you will support the product strategy and roadmap for our data as a service (DaaS) offerings. In this role, you will establish requirements and success criteria for disease area specific data modules, and work to obtain broad stakeholder approval for these requirements. You will also work closely with the quantitative sciences and engineering teams to estimate timelines and shepherd the code through to timely delivery.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will have ownership and responsibility for ensuring that our data products are focused on customer-facing business value and work collaboratively to create consensus across multiple stakeholders including Quantitative Sciences, Medical, Clinical and Engineering. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.  Your day-to-day work will involve working closely with the Clinical team, Quantitative Science team, and the development team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our life-science partners and medical research customers. 

Basic Requirements:  

  • 7+ years of product management experience in a regulated environment, with a focus on healthcare data products.
  • Experience in product development and user research methodology for complex enterprise web applications, as well as experience with RWE and/or health tech software development.
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management skills, and an ability to collaborate with subject matter experts are essential for this role.
  • Have an understanding of how to manage releases, mitigate impact of changes, and evaluate build, buy, partner decisions.
  • Experience managing complex and changing internal and external priorities, as well as experience working with remote engineering teams,
  • You identify and convert customer needs and pain points into GTM channels and offerings using a product and technology lens.
  • You operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and make reasonable decisions when faced with ambiguity.

Bonus:

  • Healthcare Data Science experience. 
  • An understanding of the ophthalmology, urology, and/or neurology clinical domains.

Verana Health is committed to complying with all applicable pay transparency laws and supports equitable pay practices. We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.

Please note pay ranges for major metropolitan areas may be different.

National Pay Range

$152,000 - $190,000 USD
