Product Marketing Manager, Security & Observability

About the Role:

Vercel is seeking a technical Product Marketing Manager to oversee our Security and Observability product lines. You will work closely with our Security and Observability product teams to speak to the value of our security products. You will own the launch strategy and go-to-market initiatives for new Security and Observability products, and will be the link between go-to-market efforts and our product teams.

What You Will Do:

• Own the Product Marketing strategy for our Security and Observability product lines
• Work with product teams to lead Product Launches for Security and Observability
• Collaborate with GTM and field enablement teams to ensure our Marketing and Sales teams have the stories and content they need to effectively communicate our value proposition
• Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform product marketing strategies and messaging
• Create compelling product narratives, positioning, and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences
• Drive the development and distribution of product marketing collateral, including datasheets, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations
• Support demand generation efforts by providing the necessary product marketing assets and insights

About You:

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful product launches.
• Proven record working with sales or marketing to build campaigns that drive adoption and awareness.
• Technical know-how, you want to dig deep into technical products to understand them, and market effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Background in developer tools or security products.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation.
