About the Role:

The Partner Team at Vercel is charged with creating mutual success for Vercel, our partners and customers. As the Sr. Director of Partnerships, North America, you will own the success of our partner channel in the region.

The ideal candidate brings experience building strong partner business in the MACH ecosystem, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a leadership role that is mission critical in helping us expand our partner ecosystem. If this sounds exciting to you, we’d love to meet you.

What You Will Do:

  • Strategic leadership: Develop and execute strategies to expand our partner business through Technology Alliances and Solution Partner relations that drive mutual growth and customer success.
  • Ecosystem growth: Manage and lead team to identify, recruit, and prioritize regional partnerships, negotiate and establish partnerships on resell and referral models.
  • Management: Manage a high performing team and a portfolio of global strategic partners, and local partners critical to North America regional growth.
  • Pipeline generation: devise regional plans with the sales and marketing leadership team to grow the volume of co-sell, co-market, and deal reciprocation. 
  • Collaboration: collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Product & Engineering, RevOps, Finance on various initiatives to support the partner channel growth.
  • Operational excellence: Build out a repeatable effective partner engagement models to nurture and drive mutual success to our partners and sales organization
  • Executive presence: Build executive relations with regional and global partners by leveraging CXO/VP-level relationships and align across stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Iterating to Greatness: Execute quarterly business reviews, with regular data analysis and insights. Provide leadership visibility into strategic bets, pipeline, and forecasts.

About You:

  • 10+ years in partnerships/sales roles at high growth SaaS companies, and 4+ years leading a partnerships team.
  • Proven success in building and scaling strategic partnerships with GSI, Reseller, and Cloud Marketplaces
  • Prior experience managing a high performing partnerships team
  • Strong existing network of relationships in the software and MACH landscape 
  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, and a bias for data-driven action
  • Strong Salesforce.com utilization and process orientation
  • Location preference: San Francisco or New York City

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $208,000.00 - $312,000.00. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
