Veterinary Technician - Internal Medicine

As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Acting as a vital communication link between our Internists and clients, supporting doctors by providing updates on patient histories, lab results, and other essential information via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Performing intravenous catheter placements and assisting with endotracheal intubation.
• Supporting endoscopic and ultrasound procedures (including GI, nasal, airway, etc.) as well as assisting with radiology tasks.
• Ensuring the proper setup, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment both before and after procedures.
• Discharging Internal Medicine patients and providing crucial client education on procedures such as insulin injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, and feeding tube care.
• Demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering high-quality patient care.
• Staying detail-oriented and effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
