We are seeking an amazing Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our growing ER department, supporting our community with emergency care when they need it the most. Role Requirements: 
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician or at least 5 years experience 
  • Experience in a range of nursing duties; including but not limited to: phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, medication administration via all routes.
  • Knowledge of physical assessments, common diseases, and monitoring techniques 
  • Knowledge of common medications and their potential side effects
  • Knowledge of common diagnostic tests and patient sample collection techniques
  • Experience with monitoring, maintaining, and recovery of patients under sedation & general anesthesia for minor and major procedures.
  • Ability to recognize patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR as needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong medical math skills

US Pay Range
