Quality GxP Auditor Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and the owner/client verbally and in writing
- Review and understand project plans, project scopes, specifications, and schedules
- Review and understand procedures, test results, and testing documents
- Review and understand submittals and shop drawings
- Review and understand RFIs for verification of implementation
- Responsible for onsite execution and witnessing of QA/QC tests
- Responsible for submitting commissioning issues, tracking updates and closeout information
- Responsible for providing daily/weekly updates to on-site management team regarding all QA/QC issues
- Responsible for the application of best practices
- Review all projects/task records for accuracy and completeness before submitting to client
- Ensure that the latest revision of quality procedures and client commissioning standards are always being used
- Comply with all relevant company safety rules, procedures and guidelines
- Comply with the company policies and client needs
Skills:
- Highly organized and able to deliver excellent service to customers/clients
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- A good understanding of QA/QC and inspection process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations
- Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze relevant information and provide thoughtful solutions.
- Knowledge of data center equipment and systems is a plus; for example, Medium Voltage (MV) Gear, Generators, Switchgear, UPS Systems, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Power Distribution Unit (PDU) operation, HVAC, Building Management System, Air Handling Units, etc…
- Knowledge of LOTO requirements is a plus
- Equipment startup and commissioning experience; witnessing contractor activation and functional testing of equipment and systems using functional test scripts
- Ability to read construction drawings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 3+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning, QA/QC experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, for example, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
- Knowledge of construction management systems, for example, BIM 360 or Procore is a plus
- OSHA 10-hour Construction safety is not required, but will need to be completed in set time frame
- NFPE-70E is not required, but will need to be completed in set time frame
Onsite presence is required in Chicago, IL or one of the following cities:

- Atlanta, GA
- Phoenix, AZ
- Reno, AZ
- Michigan City, IN
- Denver, CO
- Sandusky, OH
- Columbus, OH
- Cedar Rapids, OH
For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below. The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
