Engineering Project Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle CQV/Engineering capital projects within pharmaceutical and life sciences environments, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
- Manage multiple concurrent projects such as filler, packaging, inspection systems, warehouse expansions, cold storage (cold rooms), Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), and general facility/building upgrades
- Provide technical project leadership in GMP-regulated environments, ensuring alignment with commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) requirements
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking, ensuring cost control and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive execution of CQV deliverables, including commissioning plans, risk assessments, and validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Ensure adherence to project governance, change control, and quality systems, maintaining inspection readiness and compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain/Warehouse Operations, and EHS to support project success and operational readiness
- Manage and coordinate vendors, contractors, and system integrators, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, and schedule expectations
- Support or oversee construction and installation activities (as applicable), including field coordination and contractor management
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related technical discipline) required
- 7–10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries with a focus on CQV, engineering, or capital project management
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end capital projects, ideally including equipment, facility, and/or warehouse/logistics systems
- Working knowledge of GMP requirements, validation lifecycle, and equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Experience with warehouse operations and systems (e.g., cold rooms, temperature-controlled storage, Vertical Lift Modules) preferred
- Familiarity with fill/finish, packaging, inspection systems, or facility/building infrastructure projects
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and strong project planning capabilities
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control in regulated environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- 100% on-site presence required (West Chester, OH)

The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
