Job Introduction: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Systems Engineer / Process Engineer to support the design, operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of critical utility and process systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting commercial manufacturing operations and capital projects, with a strong emphasis on HVAC systems, process utilities, equipment performance, and operational reliability.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support and technical oversight for HVAC systems, critical utilities, and process equipment supporting commercial manufacturing operations
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for facility and process systems including HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, exhaust, and clean utility systems
- Troubleshoot system performance issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement reliability and operational improvement initiatives
- Support the design, review, implementation, and startup of facility, utility, and process engineering projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Facilities, Maintenance, Quality, Validation, and external vendors to ensure compliant and reliable system operation
- Review and maintain engineering documentation including P&IDs, technical specifications, change controls, and system updates
- Ensure engineering activities comply with GMP, safety, and environmental requirements while supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of engineering experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and critical utilities supporting GMP manufacturing operations
- Experience supporting commercial manufacturing facilities and production operations
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to process systems, utilities, equipment troubleshooting, and facility operations
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and engineering documentation
- Familiarity with GMP regulations, change control, and regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment

The actual salary is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, market demand, and competitive market practice. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
