Garden State Veterinary Services in Woodbridge, NJ is excited to announce we are looking for experienced veterinary technicians to work in our Ophthalmology department!

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 8am - 6:30pm

Ophthalmology Technician responsibilities:

  • Perform all essential duties of a Veterinary Technician
  • Assisting with Ophthalmologic exams
  • Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing
  • Properly use and maintain medical equipment including the operating room
  • Provide professional client communication
  • Assist in anesthetic and sedated procedures including ophthalmologic surgery

About you:

  • Certified technician preferred, but will consider those with 2 years veterinary experience
  • Team oriented

  • Ability to communicate with clients and all members of the veterinary team
  • Empathetic and kind approach to patient care

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 8am - 6:30pm 

Salary: $23/hr - $34/hr depending on skills, experience, and credentials
