Overview
Veritas Veterinary Partners, a leading and growing network of specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals, seeks a dynamic HR Generalist to support our operations with truth and trust. Built on a commitment to exceptional care and fostering opportunity for veterinary professionals, the HR Generalist will collaborate with hospital leadership to drive sustainable growth, ensure compliance, and cultivate a collaborative, values-driven culture. This role supports a significant portfolio, aligning with Veritas’s vision to deliver the highest standard of veterinary care across our national network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to hospital teams, including guidance on policies, procedures, and teammate relations.
- Partner with hospital directors and medical leadership to support staffing, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave management, performance reviews, and compliance training.
- Support investigations and resolution of teammate concerns, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist in the rollout of organizational initiatives including DEI, engagement surveys, and culture-building efforts.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Learning & Development teams to ensure seamless teammate experience.
- Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR support role.
- Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or multi-site organizations is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
Schedule - Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Salary - Annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience

Base Pay
$60,000 - $70,000 USD
