About the job: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead our Internal Medicine team. This position is ideal for a credentialed technician looking to take a leap forward in their career, loves to teach and has a passion for furthering their skills.
How you'll make a difference
- Supervise and mentor a team of veterinary technicians within the Internal Medicine service.
- Oversee daily workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care and client communication.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to maintain efficient operations.
- Assist with advanced diagnostics and treatments, including endoscopy, ultrasound, and complex case management.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Create staff schedule, approve timecards and time off requests
- Oversee employee reviews, candidate interviews, conflict resolution
What you'll bring
- Current veterinary technician license (required).
- 5+ years of experience as a credentialed veterinary technician preferred
- Prior experience in Internal Medicine a plus
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in anesthesia and sedation
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Schedule: Service is open 7 days a week. You shift will consist of four 10-hour days with rotating weekends
Salary: $28.00 - $40.00/hr, based on experience
