The Lead Client Service Representative is a senior CSR who helps keep front desk operations running smoothly, particularly during times when front desk management is not physically present. This role leads by example, supports teammates in real time, and helps maintain professionalism, efficiency, and a positive client experience in a high-acuity medical environment. Leadership in this role is based on presence, communication, and collaboration, with management providing ongoing oversight and support.
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 7am - 5:30pm (Some holidays are required)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-shift guidance and support to the CSR team to maintain focus, professionalism, and workflow
- Assist with client check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, phone coverage, and payment processing/posting
- Serve as a point of contact for routine client concerns and escalate issues appropriately
- Support onboarding and training of new CSRs alongside leadership
- Lead brief morning huddles to align daily priorities
- Coordinate basic coverage needs for callouts and scheduled PTO
- Complete assigned callbacks for discharged cases
- Monitor and respond to messages in a timely manner
- Complete simple administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform mid-day reviews of payment postings to ensure accuracy
About You
- Veterinary client service experience is strongly preferred; candidates with experience in fast-paced medical, emergency, or specialty healthcare environments (human or veterinary) will also be considered
- Previous lead, senior, or shift-lead experience is preferred but not required; demonstrated ability to support and guide peers is essential
- Minimum of 1 year of client-facing experience in a medical or high-volume service setting
- Comfortable supporting clients during emotionally charged situations
- Confident providing peer-level guidance
- Calm, organized, and professional under pressure
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to model positive behavior for teammates

Compensation: $23/hour+, based on experience
