About LVVSC

The Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center (LVVSC) is a specialty practice comprised of board-certified and residency-trained doctors, licensed veterinary technicians, and highly skilled support teams. Our services include Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery, Neurology, Physical Rehabilitation, Anesthesia/Pain Management, and Radiology.

About the Role

Veterinary Technicians at LVVSC play a vital role in both patient care and client service. In addition to core technical skills—such as patient restraint, medication administration, IV catheter placement, and phlebotomy—Cardiology Technicians will also be responsible for specialized duties within the department.


What You Will Bring

Clinical & Technical Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and cardiologists with:
    • Echocardiograms
    • ECG placement and monitoring
    • Blood pressure monitoring
    • Holter monitor placement and client education
    • Sedation and anesthesia support
    • Interventional cardiology procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile procedure areas and specialized equipment
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
  • Administer medications accurately and safely

Client & Team Communication:

  • Provide compassionate communication and education to clients
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborate closely with specialty, ER, anesthesia, and ICU teams

About You

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience
  • Strong knowledge of anesthetic monitoring
  • Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and normal vs. abnormal ranges
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellent client service
  • Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a willingness to learn and grow

Compensation & Schedule

  • Salary: $25.00 – $30.00/hour (dependent on experience)
  • Relocation Bonus: $5,000 for Licensed Veterinary Technicians
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
