Field Marketing Manager, LATAM

Overview
As a Field Marketing Manager at Verkada, you will play a critical role within our Field Marketing and regional sales organization. Partnering closely with local sales and the broader marketing team, you will define strategic priorities, develop targeted demand generation tactics, and execute best-in-class events and trade shows to drive pipeline growth. Your work will directly strengthen customer engagement, foster long-term success, and build loyalty across your assigned region.
As our first locally based marketer in México, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and scale our marketing presence in the region. Leveraging your expertise, you will establish impactful programs that accelerate growth and elevate our brand. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing, LATAM.
We are committed to cultivating a collaborative, in-office culture. This position is based in our México City office and requires being on-site five days a week with 50% event travel.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to create annual and quarterly marketing plans focused on actionable and measurable results aligned to pipeline and bookings targets, quarterly budgets, and overall business goals
- Fully own field marketing in México - Create impactful and scalable field marketing programs to accelerate Verkada’s growth in LATAM
- Curate a slate of local events and trade shows to engage customers and partners on the topic of physical security and achieve aggressive pipeline goals
- Provide data, insights, and supporting engagement on strategic activities to support sales and drive net new pipeline
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, venues, and other partners, ensuring favorable terms and timely deliverables
- Coordinate and facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams throughout the event process
- Work with the region's local partners to accelerate their customer engagement approach
- Act as the local representative for marketing in your region - must be comfortable with extreme ownership over marketing activities in the region
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Requirements:
- 5+ years of marketing experience in an IT, high-tech, business-to-business, marketing or sales environment
- Proven ability to execute on multiple concurrent events, experienced in trade show event management
- Proven track record filling events to capacity through effective pre/during/post motions in marketing-owned channels (email, social media marketing, etc) and in cooperation with sales / channel
- Leadership mindset - set the example for excellence and rally cross-functional teams to contribute their part to the success of each field event.
- Record of exhibiting a high degree of ownership and autonomy, focus on results and impact.
- Excellent communicator with proven ability to present complex content to a variety of audiences in a clear, engaging manner
- Scrappy, do whatever it takes attitude. Ability to problem-solve with minimal guidance. As comfortable spending a lot as spending very little
- Passion to provide the best, most innovative security solutions to businesses around the world
- Must be in-office when not traveling
Related Skills
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Salesforce.com and Marketo/Hubspot strongly preferred
- Social media platforms, email marketing, and monitoring tools
- Ability to understand business measurement, sales process and pipeline mechanics
- Experience working with channel and strategic partners to plan and execute on programs that achieve excellent results is a plus
