Engineering Manager, Engineering Productivity
Who We Are
Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering team to be directly responsible for building and maintaining tools that support and enhance the productivity of the engineering organization.
- Work closely with product and design teams to build and ship features that improve the developer experience and streamline engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with other engineering leaders to define, communicate, and execute on goals, priorities, and processes specific to engineering productivity.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the team to ensure effective performance and career development.
- Actively participate in coding and prototyping to validate ideas, accelerate execution, and understand the codebase.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience managing, leading, and inspiring a team of engineers, including hiring, retaining, and managing performance.
- 5+ years of work experience in a software engineering role, with proven technical leadership skills and expertise in designing scalable, reliable, and efficient development tools.
- Degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field (BS, MS, or PhD).
- Proficient in agile team software development and strong project management skills.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, and Go, and familiarity with at least one server-side framework and one database system.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Experience building tools to support engineering work and improve developer productivity is a plus.

Annual Pay Range
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$200,000 - $350,000 USD
