Who We Are

Verkada is a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security. Verkada offers six product lines — video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace and intercoms — integrated with a single cloud-based software platform.

Designed with simplicity and scalability in mind, Verkada gives organizations the real-time insight to know what could impact the safety and comfort of people throughout their physical environment, while empowering them to take immediate action to minimize security risks, workplace frustrations and costly inefficiencies.

Founded in 2016, Verkada has expanded rapidly with 15 offices across three continents, 2,100+ full-time employees and 28,000+ customers across 70+ countries.

Overview

Verkada is going after a $100B TAM in a market that is stuck in the 1990s by reinventing physical security in the cloud with natively integrated, AI enabled devices. With competitors’ outdated technology, each location has an on-prem server-based solution, which is clearly not scalable across hundreds of locations. The experience is so bad that sometimes IT folks have to travel on-site just to retrieve surveillance footage on a thumb drive. Needless to say, customers are dissatisfied, and they demand a modern solution.

Countless other industries have gone through transformations from disjointed, outdated tech to modern end-to-end solutions. We saw it happen with cell phones - the old Nokia brick-style phones that took several minutes to pull up one email were replaced by iPhones, supercomputers that can fit in your pocket. Apple introduced a software-first, cloud-first mentality that revolutionized the industry; Verkada is tackling the enterprise physical security space with a similar approach.

Verkada currently offers seven product lines that seamlessly work together to transform security technology such as cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, intercoms, and other systems from disparate technologies into a transformative platform integrated in the cloud. Join us in this exciting journey and be a part of a dynamic, forward-thinking company that is setting new benchmarks in an industry that is ripe for disruption.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
