Lead Product Manager, Threat Monitoring & Verification
Who We Are
Overview:
Verkada Alarms enable our customers to detect potential threats using technology and AI, verify those events through human-in-the-loop monitoring, and respond quickly to ensure the safety of property and people.
We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to drive the next generation of our threat detection monitoring. In this role, your mission is to take Verkada's capabilities to the next level, leveraging AI to detect threats and differentiate them from routine activity. Not only will you be leveraging industry leading AI, but you will also be leading the charge in integrating these capabilities into our human-in-the-loop verification operations. This means close to zero training of operators, high reliability, and industry leading response speed – all while keeping operations within defined cost parameters. You will also oversee the global roll out of these capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Expand our monitoring capabilities using AI to both detect threats and routine activity in a way that is highly predictable, reliable, and understandable to the customer
- Own human-in-the-loop monitoring workflows end-to-end, ensuring that our sensor and AI detection capabilities are married seamlessly with our human verification and response workflows
- Expand our monitoring capabilities to international markets, working closely with partners to ensure our software integrates with their operations and they are brought online as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Understand the needs of customers from small to large, including those with Security Operations Centers (SOCs), and grow our monitoring solutions strategically to serve these markets
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in B2B
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optional
- Proven history of designing and landing optimized user experiences; a strong intuition for simplifying complex concepts is critical to success in this role
- Ability to design operational workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and cost; prior operational experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with both internal teams and 3rd party partners on mission critical operations
