Overview:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Corporate Marketing Manager to support the execution of VerkadaOne, our annual customer conference, and VerkadaOne On the Road, our regional event series. VerkadaOne is our most important brand activation as well as a critical lever when it comes to driving pipeline for our business. Our most recent VerkadaOne, held this past September in Denver, CO, was attended by ~1200 prospects, customers, and partners and featured over 30 breakout sessions, industry training and certifications, high-profile keynote speakers, product announcements, and more. We are looking to grow this even further in the coming year and aim for it to one day be the Oktane or Dreamforce of the physical security industry.
About the role:
This role will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our corporate events and brand activations. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing, you’ll gain hands-on experience in event marketing, content development, and project management while collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and product teams. Responsibilities:
- Event Support & Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of VerkadaOne and VerkadaOne On the Road, ensuring deadlines, logistics, and deliverables stay on track.
- Content & Speaker Coordination: Help manage speaker logistics, session content development, and coordination with internal stakeholders and customer speakers.
- Event Marketing & Promotion: Support demand generation efforts, including email campaigns, social media efforts, and sales enablement materials to drive registrations with a focus on engagement and measurement.
- Website & Collateral Development: Assist in writing and maintaining event website content, speaker bios, agenda details, and marketing materials.
- Brand Activations & Demos: Work with the marketing and design teams to support product demo stations and on-site brand experiences.
- Post-Event Reporting & Insights: Help analyze event success metrics, compile feedback, and suggest improvements for future events.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in product or content marketing, public relations, events, content creation, or project coordination, preferably in B2B tech or SaaS.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience creating marketing materials, event content, or promotional copy.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and collaborating with multiple teams.
- Self-starter with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to be onsite in San Mateo, CA, five days a week and travel occasionally for regional events.
Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$110,000 - $150,000 USD
