Verkada’s cloud-based technology is transforming physical security across industries like retail, education, manufacturing, healthcare, and more. In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle and work closely with both end customers and channel partners to win new business and grow existing accounts. If you have a strong background selling security solutions then we want to hear from you.

  • Work Location: Remote based out of Osaka (Japan) with some travel and time spent working at our office in Shibuya, as necessary for customer engagement/business purposes.
  • Probation Period: The probationary period is 6 months. There is no anticipated change in working conditions during probation.
  • Work Hours: Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing 8 hours of work with a 60-minute lunch break. Working hours and break-time can be adjusted based on business needs.
  • Holidays: Weekends and public holidays.
  • Overtime: Deemed working hours scheme given the necessary time spent working outside the office.
  • Measure Against Passive Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors.
  • Employment Agreement Period: Permanent

What You'll Do

  • Build and grow a strong pipeline of all industries across Western Japan.
  • Work closely with local integrators, resellers, and channel partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Verkada’s product suite and its relevance to the Japanese market and broader physical security ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to deliver tailored technical demos and ensure successful product rollouts.
  • Provide feedback from the Japan market to help shape regional strategy and product improvements.
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the transition to cloud-managed physical security.
  • Travel as needed for customer/prospect meetings and site visits, with occasional travel to the Tokyo office for team collaboration.
  • This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer and partner engagements and team collaboration.

What You Bring

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
