Sales Development Role for Student-Athletes

This opportunity is only for current or former collegiate student-athletes.
We’re looking for student-athletes to join our Sales Development Program, where you'll gain the skills to kickstart a long-term career in tech sales. Many of our top performers—and even our VP of Sales Development—come from collegiate sports backgrounds. We've built a team that thrives on competition, teamwork, and grit, and this program is designed to help athletes like you make a strong transition from the field to a fast-paced sales floor.
What You'll Do
- Start your career in tech sales with structured training and real coaching
- Learn how to prospect, cold call, and book meetings with business leaders
- Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to grow your skills
- Compete and thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment
- Get promoted to Account Executive in as little as 6–12 months based on performance
What You Bring
- Collegiate athletic experience (all divisions welcome!)
- A competitive spirit and strong work ethic
- Desire to grow, be coached, and win
- No sales experience required—just the athlete mindset
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).

$50,000 - $60,000 USD
