Position Overview:
Verra Mobility is seeking a talented, content creator and visual storyteller. This individual will deliver content for marketing efforts across the Government Solutions business, driving rich experiences that bring stories to life through graphics, interactive media, and other creative content. The Graphic Designer has a strong creative background and can craft compelling digital and brand-led marketing materials.
They are responsible for original content creation, leveraging expertise and an editorial mindset to understand what our audience wants to consume and how to creatively deliver that. Successful candidates will bring a passion for content creation, an understanding of development tools, ability to adapt and uphold quick deadlines, and a solution-oriented approach to executing our marketing strategies. This is a new role in a growing marketing team with lots of opportunities to get creative.
This candidate must have strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate creative concepts across multiple channels (Collateral, Digital, Trade Show materials, presentations, etc.)
This is a hybrid position with Phoenix-area applicants strongly preferred.
This position is eligible for remote work locations anywhere in the United States.
Essential Responsibilities:
This job supports a fast-moving marketing team. As our graphic designer you'll spend your time supporting a range of stakeholders. A high-level breakdown of responsibilities include:
25% Client Support - Creating marketing materials for city, county, state, and school district-specific public affairs campaigns.
25% Proposal Support - Creating compelling graphics and materials for new business development.
50% Marketing, Communications, and Demand Generation Campaigns – Developing creative for ongoing campaign efforts (e.g., Print, Digital, Email, and Collateral).
- Strategically lead the design of original content to differentiate Verra Mobility and Government Solutions business-branded materials from concept to completion.
- Create content across various formats (including videos, photography, graphics, content templates, infographics, web design), for multiple platforms, designed to increase the awareness of the Verra Mobility brand and demand for our Government Solutions.
- Lead the design, creation, and production efforts for the content development process and subsequent deliverables.
- Create custom digital and print advertising materials, including presentations, infographics, digital assets, product cut sheets and brochures, product logos and packaging, social media images/videos/animations, event graphics, trade show materials, etc.
- Execute against content strategy, working with stakeholders to develop, package, and reinvent content to fuel marketing activities across multiple channels and outputs.
- Conceptualize and collaborate on large marketing integrated campaigns.
- Create graphics and charts in support of the government proposals process in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate with internal teams on project scope and status.
- Develop, manage, and enforce compliance of brand standards, including asset creation and creative resource management.
- Execute and contribute to shared content editorial calendar, working with team members to analyze content performance.
- Brainstorm, research, and pitch content that contributes to business goals and continues to innovate marketing materials.
- Proofread and correct mock-ups, ensuring high-quality work.
- Recommend ways, practices, and methods to streamline the design process and continuously recommend new approaches and/or revisions in collaboration with marketing team members.
- Meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, high-output creative environment.
- Video editing and photography skills preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design/graphic arts/illustration, or similar.
- Mastery of core Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) .
- Skilled at integrating assets generated from core Adobe programs into PowerPoint.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects (or similar) preferred.
- Experience with UX design and relevant tools (e.g., Figma) preferred.
- Highly detail-oriented with an aptitude to provide artistic direction and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.
