The Role
Versaterm is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst (Operations) to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be partnering with executive leaders across the Operations, Technology, and Finance teams to analyze Versaterm’s operational strategies and performance. This role is strategic, impactful, and highly critical.

What You’ll Do
- Develop capacity & planning model and methodologies to drive management and prediction of contracted services subscription start (‘Go-Live’) dates
- Coordinate with accounting, operations and support manager to develop productivity and cost models for customer support, implementations and professional services functions.
- Develop key metrics in this area to drive planning and forecasting related to revenue growth.
- Develop product specific models and analysis of cloud hosting services and technology cost, based on usage or licence requirements.
- Track & analyze capital spend
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for the Operations team to aid in decision-making and resource allocation.
- Assist operation and R&D team in process and system implementation
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support the Company’s Operations team as required
- Support development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts aligned with the company's strategic objectives
- Regularly monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration - Finance or related fields. Strong academic record with relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA or MBA
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and planning, preferably with direct experience to or analysis of product costs and customers operations for high-growth tech-enabled services or SAAS industries
- Highly skilled and proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and prioritize tasks as needed.
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to multi-task
- Proactive: always remaining curious and not afraid to ask questions.
- Ability to think outside the box for ways to improve current processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Impress Us With
- The ability to summarize data into visual dashboards using charts, graphs, trend analysis.
- Prior Knowledge of Project & Effort Tracking Systems, Ticketing Systems, SalesForce, Intacct, or other accounting systems
- Familiarity or certified in Amazon Web Services or MS Azure
- Strong technical skills, particularly with Excel, Visual basic, SQL, PowerBI or Tableau
- High degree of curiosity and intrinsic motivation
