About the Role:
As Vice President of CAD/RMS Sales, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategic influencing campaigns at the enterprise level as well as strategic sales initiatives tailored to our high-success, high-impact model within the largest public safety agencies across North America. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader capable of steering consultative sales engagements, nurturing senior executive relationships, and securing complex, extended-duration contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for our CAD and RMS product lines
- Cultivate and maintain crucial customer and internal stakeholder relationships to optimize market penetration in the U.S. and Canada
- Conduct rigorous deal assessments and allocate resources efficiently to enhance win rates
- Lead complex sales cycles focusing on opportunity identification, qualification, and stakeholder engagement
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to expand the CAD and RMS business and foster broader adoption within the Versaterm ecosystem
- Employ sales analytics and forecasting tools to build and sustain a robust sales pipeline
- Regularly create concise, data-driven presentations that summarize past activities, demonstrate value created, and provide thoughtful, future focused recommendations for senior leadership review
- Enforce a structured sales methodology in line with Versaterm’s commitment to exceptional service and a customer-centric approach
- Mentor and develop the sales team, enhancing their account planning tactics and value proposition delivery
- Deepen industry expertise to align our solutions closely with the operational challenges faced by large-scale agencies
- Champion Versaterm’s thought leadership by participating actively in industry events, conferences, and executive briefings
- Drive revenue growth and market share expansion at strategically selected agencies, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and fulfillment of Versaterm’s growth goals
- Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets
- Regularly create concise, data-driven presentations that summarize past activities, demonstrate value created, and provide thoughtful future-focused recommendations for senior leadership review
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise software sales and customer retention
- A proven ability to strategically expand business operations in partnership with Product and Operations teams
- Demonstrated expertise in nurturing sales talent and managing high-performing sales teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise SaaS applications and consultative sales strategies with extended sales cycles
- Proficient in managing intricate buying processes and procurement cycles
- Exceptional skills in coaching, written and verbal communication, discovery, and presentations
- A robust passion for enhancing customer satisfaction and deepening client relationships
- Willingness and ability to contribute directly to team efforts
