The Role

We are seeking a talented and data-driven Demand Generation & Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing team and help us drive generation and pipeline growth across multiple channels for our energy management solutions. This role represents a great opportunity for growth marketing and demand gen specialists with experience working for B2B SaaS companies to apply their skills in the clean energy space.

We expect this initial contract term to be 3-6 months, with the contractor working approximately 15 hours per week. We are open to considering converting this contract role to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • In concert with Marketing, develop, execute, and report on comprehensive demand-generation strategies aligned with company goals
  • Support multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, content marketing (e.g., webinars, case studies, etc.), and paid LinkedIn ads
  • Optimize top-of-funnel activities to meet monthly targets for MQLs, meetings, opportunities, and pipeline
  • Work closely with Sales team to align digital marketing efforts with sales targets to convert leads into pipeline
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions on how to boost metrics like cost-per-MQL, ROI on campaigns, and pipeline velocity
  • Collaborate with marketing and business operations to manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Zoominfo, Clay, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Help execute and own reporting for account-based marketing for priority target accounts, including creating personalized campaigns, measuring engagement at the account level, etc.
  • Participate in weekly lead gen reviews, monthly metrics reporting meetings
  • Report to the VP of Marketing but collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Product Marketing on a regular basis

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation
  • Proven track record of success in digital marketing and demand/lead gen
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (Hubspot preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign performance tracking
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Hubspot for web/landing page management and analytics tracking (in collaboration with web developer)
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to optimize marketing spend and pipeline generation
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

What Will Make You Standout (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in the energy or cleantech industry
  • Experience running global campaigns, with a focus on North American Enterprise space
  • Knowledge of lead scoring 
  • Experience with ABM strategies and intent signal-based marketing
  • Passion for AI tools and their application in marketing
  • Background or interest in the energy industry or clean tech space
