Position Summary

Vertex Service Partners is seeking a proven in-home, one-call close sales professional to serve as the Southeast Regional Director of Sales Enablement. This role is responsible for delivering immersive sales training through Vertex Sales University (VSU), coaching sales professionals and leaders in the field, and driving sales performance across the Southeast region. The position plays a critical role in developing the next generation of Vertex sales talent while influencing training strategy, curriculum development, and revenue growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Training & Facilitation

  • Deliver and co-lead Vertex Sales University (VSU) bootcamp training sessions for new sales representatives.
  • Teach Vertex’s consultative, one-call close sales process through classroom instruction, role-play, demonstrations, and real-time coaching.
  • Facilitate high-engagement learning experiences that accelerate sales rep development.

Regional Sales Performance

  • Own post-training sales performance outcomes across all Southeast markets, including Virginia, The Carolinas, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia.
  • Monitor key sales metrics, including NSLI and Close Rate %, to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide targeted coaching and support to underperforming markets, sales representatives, and sales leaders.

Field Coaching & Leadership Development

  • Conduct ride-alongs and in-field coaching sessions with sales representatives and Sales Managers.
  • Mentor Sales Managers on coaching effectiveness, performance management, and team development.
  • Partner with Sales Directors during onboarding and performance improvement initiatives.

Training Strategy & Curriculum Development

  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales Enablement East Region, and National Sales Enablement Team to enhance training programs and curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and learning resources using AI tools and modern learning technologies.
  • Analyze performance data and recommend training enhancements that improve revenue outcomes.
  • Partner with Regional Directors and Sales Directors to ensure consistency and continuous improvement across markets.

Key Outcomes

  • Deliver effective VSU training programs that accelerate sales rep readiness and performance.
  • Improve post-VSU sales rep NSLI and Close Rate performance across Southeast markets.
  • Strengthen Sales Manager coaching capabilities and leadership effectiveness.
  • Build and continuously improve scalable sales enablement programs, training content, and curriculum.
  • Identify performance trends and implement coaching strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Establish consistent sales processes and training standards throughout the Northeast region.

Qualifications & Characteristics

Required:

  • Proven success in residential retail roofing sales or home improvement services utilizing an in-home, one-call close sales model.
  • Deep expertise in consultative selling methodologies and sales process execution.
  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency with AI tools, digital platforms, and technology-enabled learning solutions.
  • Located within or willing to relocate to the Southeast region.
  • High-accountability mindset with a focus on team performance and measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Southeast region.

Preferred:

  • Experience in formal sales training, coaching, or sales leadership roles.
  • Experience developing onboarding programs, playbooks, and training materials.
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms, sales enablement technology, and AI productivity tools.
  • Experience supporting multiple markets or operating companies.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary of $105,000–$115,000.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $200,000–$210,000.
  • Eligibility for performance-based incentives and bonus opportunities.

Compensation for this role may be provided as hourly pay, salary, commission, piece-rate, bonuses, incentives, or a combination of these methods, depending on the position. Actual earnings may vary.

$200,000 - $210,000 USD
