Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Flutter Engineer to join our mobile development team. You’ll work on building and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product managers. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in Flutter development and mobile architecture in a supportive environment.
What you will do:
- Implement Flutter features, fixes and automated tests on projects, following VGV coding standards and patterns.
 - Pair program with teammates and participate in code reviews to learn, share context, deliver increments, and give and incorporate feedback, upholding team quality gates such as linters and tests.
 - Work hand in hand with QA, Design, Product, and Project Management, fostering clear communication and smooth cross-team delivery.
 - Use Git, Artificial Intelligence, command line, and your IDE effectively for everyday workflows including branching, committing, and opening PRs.
 - Work effectively within agile ways of working, keeping tickets and documentation up to date, communicating status clearly, and surfacing blockers or risks early.
 - Show curiosity for architecture, automation, and testing practices, and contribute small improvements to the developer experience.
 
What we look for:
- Graduated Software Engineers or advanced students, with availability to work full time (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
 - Previous work experience is not required. This is an entry level position.
 - Clear, concise technical communication in English, with the ability to explain trade-offs (B2 level or higher).
 - Familiarity with REST APIs.
 - Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
 - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
 - Good communication and team collaboration skills.
 
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Flutter and Dart (school or personal projects, internships, or previous roles).
 - Experience as an Academic or Teaching Assistant.
 - Experience with Serverless Architecture, e.i. Firebase.
 - Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
 - Familiarity with native iOS/Android development basics.
