Who Are We Looking For?
Vestwell is expanding and we’re keen to add a Product Manager to our team who’s passionate about changing the retirement industry. We’re looking for someone who loves to solve problems and is driven to build great products. You will work across all of our solutions - translating company goals into focused initiatives, actionable steps, and a living backlog of work to be done. You will help refine and execute a product vision, improve engineering project management processes, and implement external/internal product communication and feedback channels.
This role will be leading and expanding our Money Movement capabilities, which includes:
- The user flows that lead to savers moving money into and out of the platform (e.g., rollovers, withdrawals, and loans)
- Operational tooling that supports processing such transactions
- Partnering with the Fraud/Risk team to ensure users receive their funds both quickly and safely
- Exploring AI solutions to help our operations teams scale and set up new business on the platform more efficiently
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving our money movement strategy and delivering market-leading solutions that support participants, advisors, sponsors, and operational teams.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Understand high-level strategic plans and stakeholder needs; identify opportunities; and translate into buildable features with clear intended impact
- Establish a roadmap for your squad and effectively communicate and defend decisions
- Partner with developers to break down product requirements into stories and provide functional requirements/acceptance criteria
- Assist QA team in understanding the appropriate positive and negative test cases to ensure test coverage and a high level of code quality
- Provide constant and iterative feedback to the development team, including identifying bugs and assisting in resolution
- Complete functional testing and provide product sign-off when features are ready for a production release
- Develop processes and tools for tracking usage trends and allow data to inform future development plans
REQUIREMENTS
The Necessities
- 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in fintech, wealth management, or investments
- Experience with SQL and data integrations (e.g., APIs, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into intuitive product experiences
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams, including translating product requirements into clear deliverables, facilitating ongoing collaboration, and ensuring smooth execution across the development lifecycle
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A demonstrated interest in leveraging AI to enhance business outcomes

The expected salary range for this position is $125K-$150K
