Job Title: Manager, Operational Finance and Analytics

Job Location:
New York, New York (HQ)

Remote Work Permitted: No

Annual Salary: $125,000 Range ($125,000 -$135,000 year)

Job Duties:
Serve as owner of operational KPIs by defining metrics, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining a unified
reporting framework. Work with the COO to evaluate operational processes using data and performance
modeling. Develop business cases for operational changes and quantify impacts on efficiency, cost,
capacity, and revenue. Collaborate with Finance to link operational data to forecasting, capacity planning,
and revenue analysis. Translate operational issues into structured problems, create analytic frameworks,
and provide databased recommendations. Conduct rootcause analyses and implement datadriven
solutions. Partner with data, product, and engineering teams to ensure data quality, accurate metric
definitions, and reliable reporting systems. Establish processes for reporting and analytics.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in finance, economics, or related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in finance, strategy consulting, or a related role.
  • 5 years of experience in quantitative and financial analysis, forecasting, and US GAAP principles
  • 3 years of experience with the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
    • Salesforce
    • Rippling
    • Cube
    • Sage Intacct
    • Tableau

Interview Process
Our interview process starts the same for every candidate with 1-2 introductory conversations to learn more about your background, interests, and what you're looking for, while also giving you the opportunity to learn more about Vestwell and the team. From there, the process varies by role but typically includes a skills or experience-based assessment, such as a coding interview, portfolio review, or deeper discussion of your relevant experience. Successful candidates then move on to a virtual or in-person interview panel. Before extending an offer, we complete a reference check with a current or former manager and a peer. Throughout the process, we prioritize transparency, clear communication, and minimizing surprises.
