Veterinary Technician – Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital (Buckeystown, MD)

At Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital, we’re a well-established small animal practice dedicated to providing top-quality care with compassion, and we’re looking for another amazing technician to join our team!

We are open Monday–Friday, 8am-6pm with rotating Saturdays 8am-1pm.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay: $18–$23/hour (depending on experience) - higher for licensed techs
- $500 CE allowance for RVTs

Job Requirements:

Patient care
-
Diagnostics (collecting and preparing samples; running in-house lab equipment; obtaining digital and dental radiographs)

Technical Skills (anal gland expression, nail trim, administering vaccines, venipuncture, dental scaling and polishing, monitoring anesthesia, skills not all inclusive)

Strong communication (in person and over the phone) and client education skills

Proficiency in computer knowledge and electronic medical records

Flexible schedule (morning, evening, rotating weekends)

Ability to work independently and help lead the flow of appointments

Other duties as assigned
