About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Chief of Staff to partner with our CEO and leadership team in driving both strategic and tactical initiatives across the organization. As Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for streamlining operations, aligning company-wide priorities, and acting as the primary liaison between the CEO and the executive team. This role is vital to ensuring the effective execution of the CEO’s vision, and it requires someone with strong operational discipline, strategic insight, and the ability to handle a range of responsibilities from high-level planning to real-time problem-solving.

You Will:

  • Lead Strategic Execution: Partner with the CEO to manage and drive key business initiatives, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and operationalizing strategic goals.
  • Manage Metrics and KPIs: Own the establishment and tracking of company-wide metrics, including KPIs and OKRs. Ensure leadership alignment and communicate progress across the organization.
  • Facilitate Executive Communications: Prepare internal and external communications, including briefings, reports, and presentations for executive meetings, Board sessions, and other key stakeholder engagements.
  • Oversee Project Management: Manage complex, cross-functional projects, from inception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
  • Act as Leadership Liaison: Build trust with the executive team, serving as the link between the CEO and leadership to ensure effective execution of strategic priorities.
  • Support the CEO: Manage the CEO’s schedule and priorities, acting as a key point of contact for real-time problem-solving and urgent tasks.
  • Develop Operating Standards: Help implement operational rigor by developing and managing operating principles, including OKRs and QBRs.
  • Provide Analytics and Insights: Utilize data to generate insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Bring the right teams and players together to tackle high-priority business challenges and ensure organizational alignment.

You Have:

  • Experience: 8+ years in business operations, strategy, or project management roles, with exposure to both strategic and tactical work. Experience in revenue operations (RevOps) or go-to-market (GTM) operations is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and Operational Expertise: A proven ability to think strategically and execute operationally, turning vision into action.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities with the ability to interpret metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Leadership: A track record of building trust with senior leadership and managing high-level relationships effectively.
  • Resilience and Grit: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage ambiguity with focus and discipline.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for preparing concise and impactful briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Flexibility: The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle both high-level strategic work and day-to-day operations.
  • Core Attributes: Resilience, self-assurance, humility, collaboration, and the ability to build trust and handle sensitive information with discretion.

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
