About the Opportunity

As the RVP of East Sales, you will be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing sales organization to drive Veza’s next phase of growth. You will work alongside colleagues who have helped shape the success of companies like Google, Okta, AWS, and VMware. This role is pivotal to achieving revenue targets, building Veza’s presence in the region, and working closely with cross functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

 

You Will:

  • Lead Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate target markets and acquire new enterprise customers. Help establish sales processes, methodologies, and playbooks to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization
  • Build and Scale the Sales Team: Build, manage and mentor a team of high-performing Account Executives focused on customer acquisition and growth within Enterprise / Major accounts.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to align on go-to-market initiatives and deliver seamless customer experiences. Participate in strategic decision-making as a member of the company's sales leadership team
  • Data-Driven Sales Management: Leverage data and insights to measure team performance, optimize sales strategies, and prioritize account engagements. Accurately forecast sales pipeline, revenue, and key performance metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Cultivate Executive Relationships: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key enterprise clients, engaging with C-level executives to discuss critical security needs and drive both new business and expansions.
  • Oversee Account Strategy and Escalations: Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform sales planning. Ensure effective territory and account management, including handling escalations and leading executive engagements to foster long-term client partnerships.
  • Expand Veza’s Market Presence: Represent Veza at industry events, conferences, and through professional networks to build Veza’s brand and customer base.

 

You Have:

  • Experience and Expertise: 10+ years of progressive enterprise sales and sales leadership experience including at least 5+ years in a strategic sales leadership role with a track record of building and scaling enterprise sales teams and achieving revenue targets within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Enterprise Software Sales Acumen: Extensive experience in selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions, particularly identity or access management, and developing go-to-market strategies that align with regional growth objectives.
  • Relationship-Building Skills: Proven ability to establish and grow executive relationships, particularly with CISOs and other senior leaders in enterprise environments. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with C-site and senior level stakeholders.
  • High-Level Sales Execution: Demonstrated ability to create and execute sales strategies that drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth. Experience with consultative selling, including target account selling, solution selling, or MEDDPIC/Challenger methodologies and managing individual and team success.
  • Coaching and Development: Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and people management capabilities. Ability to identify areas and opportunities for growth and improvement; coach team members for success, address performance issues effectively.
  • Market and Product Knowledge: Background in managing a team selling high value, complex software solutions, ideally in identity and access management / cybersecurity solutions. Prefer familiarity with security platforms (e.g., ZScaler, CrowdStrike) and Cloud IAM (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Adaptability in High-Growth Environments: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings and quickly adapt to changes in the market or organizational strategy. Strong business acumen, financial acumen, and data-driven decision making skills.  Collaborative mindset.

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
