Vice President Solutions Engineering
Role Overview
As the Global VP of Sales Engineering you will be responsible for leading a team focused on the entire customer journey - from pre-sales technical support and solution architecture, to driving successful customer adoption and post-sales value delivery. You will partner closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure our customers receive world-class technical guidance and support at every stage of the sales process and beyond.
You Will:

Build and manage a high-performing global sales engineering team to support the company's sales and growth initiatives

Provide technical leadership and expertise to the sales organization, collaborating closely to understand customer requirements, architect solutions, and deliver compelling technical presentations

Work cross-functionally with product, professional services, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial engagement to long-term value realization

Develop and continuously improve the sales engineering playbook, including pre-sales qualification, solution design, proof-of-concept execution, and customer onboarding

Implement processes, tools, and best practices to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales engineering function

Analyze customer and market trends to provide strategic input on product roadmap, sales strategy, and go-to-market initiatives

Attract, develop, and retain top sales engineering talent globally
You Have:

10+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a related technical leadership role, preferably in the identity and access management or cybersecurity industry

Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing global sales engineering teams

Deep understanding of identity and access management technologies, solutions, and industry trends

Excellent technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business value for executives

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
