Key Responsibilities (You Will)
Technical Leadership & Evangelism
● Lead Complex, High-Stakes Engagements: Own all technical validation activities—advanced workshops, PoCs, deep-dive demos—earning trust from hands-on engineers to CISOs.
● Evangelize New Technology: Translate emerging security innovations into clear, compelling value for customers; champion our platform’s vision and guide prospects through uncharted territory.
● Solve Hard Problems with Tenacity: Tackle ambiguous, multivariate technical challenges with systematic, high-pressure problem-solving; persist until the right solution is found.
● Close the Feedback Loop: Capture customer insights, new use cases, and market signals—turning them into actionable input for Product and Engineering.
Sales Partnership & Strategy
● Co-Sell with Sales: Deeply understand prospect pain points and technical drivers; architect tailored solutions that deliver meaningful, differentiated business outcomes.
● Artifacts: Create technical proposals, architectures, and RFP/RFI responses that make complex ideas simple and compelling.
● Differentiate Relentlessly: Monitor industry trends and competition to clearly articulate where we win—and why.
● Inspire Customers with Vision: Present product roadmap and emerging capabilities, helping customers anticipate and prepare for the future of identity and security.
● Champion Innovation: Serve as a trusted advisor who not only solves today’s problems but pushes customers toward modern, forward-leaning architectures.
What You Bring (You Have)
Experience & Background
● 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or field engineering, ideally in Cybersecurity, Identity, or Access Management.
● A proven record of helping close complex, enterprise-scale deals and shaping robust, scalable architectures.
● Strong grounding in cybersecurity fundamentals, modern identity models (Zero Trust, AuthN/AuthZ), and the broader threat and identity landscape.
● Hands-on experience with identity and security platforms, cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), and cloud security concepts.
● Familiarity with microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) and scripting capabilities (Python, Go) for automation or PoC development.
● Exceptional communicator who can distill complexity for both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
● Resilient, tenacious problem-solver who thrives in high-pressure, unstructured environments.
● A natural evangelist—curious, forward-thinking, and energized by driving adoption of new technology.
● You thrive in ambiguity, adapt quickly, and bring relentless drive to fast-paced environments
The compensation for this role depends on several factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates offered a position at the posted job level, the provided range is the expected base salary. This does not include any additional variable compensation, such as commission.

$145,000 - $185,000 USD

At Veza, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
