
Mobile QA Team Lead

As a Mobile QA Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will lead a team of Quality Assurance professionals and work clo with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
What You'll Do
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team of QA engineers, including task assignment, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members, foster collaboration, and resolve conflicts.
- Maintain hands-on approach (50%) with a passion for the product.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey requirements, instructions, and feedback to team members, stakeholders, and developers.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth coordination and delivery of high-quality mobile applications.
- Experience in conducting QA team meetings, reporting project progress, and providing updates to senior management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results, metrics, and data to drive continuous improvement in the QA process.
- Proactive mindset to anticipate potential issues, suggest improvements, and implement preventive measures.
Who You Are
- At least 2 years experience leading teams of QA.
- In-depth understanding of mobile platforms, including iOS and Android, their operating systems, and device-specific features.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques for mobile applications, including functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
- Understanding of mobile-specific challenges, such as device fragmentation, network conditions, battery consumption, and security concerns.
Quality Assurance Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, and the role of QA in each phase.
- Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
- Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and issues, as well as working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Experience with test case management tools and test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Understanding of best practices for ensuring the accessibility, usability, and performance of mobile applications.
